Cougars senior goalkeeper Marianna Neau was recently named the recipient of the 1st annual Kelley O’Hara Scholarship. Kelley O’Hara played youth soccer at a club called AFC, where Marianna also plays, before going on to win the Women’s World Cup twice with the United States Women’s National Team. Beginning this year, a scholarship will be awarded to the AFC senior who plans to play college soccer and best represents Kelley’s excellence and character both on and off the field. Marianna undoubtedly exhibits those characteristics, and as a result, she was chosen as the recipient of this year’s scholarship. We are all so proud of you Marianna!
